Spring Fair 2002

WHAT |
The 31st annual Johns Hopkins Spring Fair
featuring:
Free admission and free parking
Carnival rides and inflatable extreme games
Craft vendors with quality arts and wares created by
artisans from across the nation; jewelry, clothing, pottery,
collectibles, literature and much more; an expanded shopping
experience with specialty merchandise including ethnic,
imported and cultural wares
Special children s entertainment including Monkey Man, Ray
Owen, Johns Hopkins Tae Kwon Do Club and Johns Hopkins
student a cappella groups; a literacy program featuring the
Phantom Tollbooth, a reading corner, interactive workshops
and arts and crafts
Food vendors: hot dogs, burgers, nachos, cotton candy as
well as exotic and eclectic tastes from Baltimore
restaurants
Photography and karaoke contests
A fashion show
Free live music on both the daytime stage and the 98 ROCK
stage in the Beer Garden. Performers include Tube, a Spring
Fair favorite. |
SPECIAL EVENTS |
Casino Night for Johns Hopkins students from 10 p.m. to 1
a.m. on Friday, April 26, in the Glass Pavilion, Levering
Hall; proceeds will go to local charities
Hip-hop group the Roots on Saturday, April 27, in the Johns
Hopkins Student Recreation Center. Doors open at 7 p.m. $15
for the general public through Ticketmaster. $5 for Hopkins
students with J-Card.
