Sculptors to Speak at Evergreen

Artists Brent Crothers, Maren Hassinger and Gale Jamieson, will give a slide talk at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, in conjunction with Sculpture at Evergreen, an exhibition of large, site-responsive contemporary sculpture on the grounds at Evergreen House, at 4545 N. Charles St. in Baltimore.

The artists will discuss their sculptures exhibited at Evergreen House in the context of their past work. They will shed light on the ideas and emotions that influence their sculpture, the inspirations for their choice of materials and the challenges presented by the landscape of Evergreen.

Admission is $8 for Evergreen members and $10 for non-members. To make reservations or for information, call 410-516-0341.

Sculpture at Evergreen is open to the public through Oct. 31, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
