Early Glass in Maryland, A Talk at Hopkins
Goldsborough, guest curator of an exhibit at the Homewood House Museum that looks at early glass and glass-making techniques, will talk about glass made and owned by Marylanders between 1785 and 1835. The lecture will also focus on early uses of glass and the technology and artistry behind the production of glass objects.
This lecture is part of the Wednesday Noon Series presented by the Johns Hopkins University Office of Special Events and is held in conjunction with the current exhibit, "Bubble to Bottle, Pontil to Prism: Early Glass in Maryland," at the Homewood House Museum, located on the Homewood campus.
