Commencement Events Spread Across University

The following is a list of the commencement ceremonies, locations and guest speakers taking place this week across the university

University Commencement Ceremony

May 22, 9:30 a.m., Upper Quadrangle
Speaker: Sadako Ogata, the United Nations high commissioner for refugees. This is the university-wide ceremony at which all Johns Hopkins University degrees are officially conferred.

Speaker: Wynton Marsalis, jazz trumpeter, composer and arranger. Marsalis will also receive the George Peabody Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Music in America.
