Appointment/Promotion

Description: Communicate with ad hoc committee chairs on procedural matters/questions, review final ad hoc committee reports prior to AC agenda, review and approve all Assistant Professor (tenure-track) and other non tenure track faculty appointments.

    Description: Review and provide recommendations to Council on proposals from the following Council “standing” committees: KSAS/WSE Curriculum Committee, Graduate Board, Whiting School Graduate Committee. Review and provide recommendations to Council on proposals from the Advanced Academic Programs Governance Committee.

  • Robert Cammarata, Chair (plus liaison to WSE Curriculum Committee)
  • John Marshall, (plus liaison to Graduate Board)
  • Jane Guyer (plus liaison to AAP Gov. Cte.)
  • Jerry Prince (plus liaison to Whiting School Graduate Committee)

    • Administration & Bylaws

    Description: Draft revisions to Council documents when necessary.

    Description: Draft Council minutes.

    Description: Set agendas and chair evening meetings, serve as AC liaison to faculty and administration.
