The meeting of the Academic Council was called to order at 3:00 p.m. by President William Brody. In addition to President Brody, those attending were Interim Provost Donald Steinwachs, Dean Adam Falk, Dean David Bell, Dean Nicholas Jones, Vice Dean Andrew Douglas, Professors Paul Feldman, Jane Guyer, Andrew Hoyt, Stuart Leslie, John Marshall, Charles Meneveau, Jerry Prince and Sarah Woodson. Professors Robert Cammarata, Paul Dagdigian, Siba Grovogui, and Paola Marrati were absent.
The appointment of Dr. Kristina Johnson as full Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering effective September 1, 2007 was approved.
The meeting adjourned at 3:37 p.m.
