Videoconferencing
The campus offers a Polycom mobile videoconferencing system that allows for audio and video communication worldwide.
The new videoconferencing system, which can be used in many meeting spaces, allows users to access up to 6 multipoint sites (including the campus) and one audio site. Users can view far-end site and near-end site simultaneously, and can share content, such as PowerPoint presentations or video, via a Hopkins-provided laptop, document camera, VCR or DVD player. The system includes two 42” plasma monitors and can project images or video to a larger screen if needed.
Equipment should be reserved when coordinating space rental.
Wireless Access
JHU-MCC offers wireless Internet access to all on-campus guests. If your guests intend to use the wireless network, please have them download instructions prior to arriving on campus. Students, faculty and staff may download instructions for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Mac in order to access the Hopkins secured network prior to arriving on campus.
Parking
The Montgomery County Campus offers ample FREE parking for event participants.
Catering
The on-site Food for Thought Café can provide catering services. In addition, Johns Hopkins has a list of approved caterers. Please request that list when reserving space.
