Johns Hopkins University: A Plan for Homewood Campus
DATE: February 8, 2000
MEMO TO: Community Focus Group, Homewood Master Plan
FROM: Janet Sanfilippo
RE: March 1, 2000 Town Meeting
I am pleased to tell you that we have scheduled a second Town Meeting at the Northern District Police Station, 34th and Keswick, on Wednesday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. Representatives from Ayers/Saint/Gross and Johns Hopkins University will present the Homewood Master Plan-in-process. For those of you unfamiliar with the Police Station, you should enter the facility from 34th street, proceed through the arches, go to the end of the hallway, then take a right. The officer at the desk can direct you to the Roll Call Room.

The attendance at our first Town Meeting on January 26 was excellent, despite the snow. The high level of interest encouraged us to do something similar on the west side of our campus. This is an opportunity for your community organizations, friends, and neighbors to comment on the plan before final recommendations are made. We hope you will help us get the word out through your newsletters, flyers, and word of mouth. This Town Meeting will replace the Community Focus Group meeting for this month.

Community members interested in knowing more about the Homewood Master Plan are welcome to peruse the Homewood Master Plan website.

We appreciate your assistance in helping us publicize this activity, and hope to have a large turnout. Thank you!
