DISCUSSION

Many would like to encourage more housing east of Charles Street.

It was suggested that the master planning team consider the probable future need for a drop off on Charles Street near the Student Arts Center.

The community would like to see traffic reduced on 33rd street.

There were some suggestions for the redesign of St. Paul Street, one of which was to add 8' to the east side of the street and reduce or remove the median strip. The extra space for the retail area on the eastside of the street was thought to be more valuable than the concrete median strip separating the North and South bound traffic.

The pedestrian crossing at Wyman Park Drive and Charles is very dangerous now and needs to be reworked.

The Shuttle Stop and 27th and St. Paul is thought to contribute to the parking problem in the area.

Respectfully submitted,
AYERS/SAINT/GROSS, INC.
