We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow interested in computational modeling of nonlinear response properties in the auditory system. We are developing an automated system to characterize complex neuronal responses by generating stimuli adaptively while recording from the auditory cortex or the inferior colliculus of awake marmoset monkeys. Depending on interest and preparation, a candidate may combine both theoretical and neurophysiological approaches, or work on the theoretical/computational side of the project in collaboration with experimental colleagues.
