Undergraduate financial aid is awarded by the Financial Aid office
and the Admissions Office. Financial packages are awarded individually
according to the means and needs of the student's family. Undergraduate
students are assigned a financial aid advisor that they should consult
regarding their fundings
Graduate student financial aid may be awarded by their home department.
A department may award a complete financial aid package to a prospective
graduate student. This package may include tuition and stipend (salary).
The level of funding is different for each department. Graduate students
may also seek financial assistance through different loans. If the department
grants aid to a graduate student it is designated through the on-line
P form. Stipend (salary) is awarded to the student via payroll.
In addition to department funding the Office of Student Financial Services
assists graduate students obtain federal and state funding for full-time
and part-time studies. This assistance can help meet the cost of education.
It is important that graduate students investigate various funding alternatives,
as well as apply for financial aid within the deadlines as determined
by the Office of Student Financial Services which is open Monday through
Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
