Haven't danced in a while and miss it?
Looking to continue practising and performing?
Jhumoor is looking for dancers trained in any Indian Classical
dance style. If you would like to get involved, stop by for auditions
and learn about the group and its members.

Jhumoor is a group
which aims to explore contemporary themes, modern
choreographic techniques and interpretive dancing within the bounds of
classical and folk styles of
Indian dance. Group members are graduate students at Johns Hopkins
University trained in Indian classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam,
Kathak,
Odissi, Mohiniattam, Kuchipudi and various folk dances from different
parts of
India. 'Jhumoor' is a word in Bengali meaning
'ANKLETS'
