The Musallah
Prayer times:
Fajr 6:15 am
Isha 9:15 pm
Daily Prayers are located on the corner of N. Charles Street and University Parkway (directly across Charles Street from the Tennis Courts and AMRs).
Daily prayers are held in the Musallah (prayer room) in the Interfaith Center (IFC) on the corner of North Charles Street and University Parkway. The IFC is directly across the street from the tennis courts and the AMRs.
Fajr and Isha prayers are usually performed in congregation throughout the year.
Access
During regular working hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm), the Musallah may be directly accessed via the main ground entrance of the IFC, on the south side of the building.
24/7 access to the Musallah requires special activation of the J-Card. To obtain this, please contact Kathy Schnurr (kschnurr@jhu.edu) or Priscilla March (pmarch@jhu.edu). They both work in the basement area of the IFC and will have to be seen personally for 24/7 access. After a copy of your J-Card is taken, it will be activated for open access in the system; you can then swipe your J-Card through the reader outside the north side entrance for access to the Musallah at any time.
