Saturday, March 4, 2000, 1:00 p.m. - "Seventh Annual Children's Concert"


Children of all ages are invited to attend this 45 minute program featuring music from the March 5th Orchestra Concert. Learn about the different sound and instruments of the orchestra and participate in a conducting lesson. Admission to this concert is FREE; however, you must request a ticket for entry. Thursday, June 22, 2000, 8:00 p.m. - Backdoor Concert with Hilary Hahn


World-renowned violinist and Baltimore native Hilary Hahn returns as soloist in Elgar's dreamy and passionate Violin Concerto. The program will begin with Elgar's beloved Enigma Variations. The concert will take place in Shriver Hall on Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus. General admission for this very special event will be $12 at the door. However, subscribers to the Hopkins Symphony Orchestra, the Hopkins Symphony Chamber Concert series or the Shriver Hall Concert series will receive ticket priority and a discounted admission price of $10 per ticket for this concert.
