MLN
Over a century ago, MLN pioneered the introduction of contemporary
continental criticism into American scholarship. Its reputation for high
standards and excellent quality continue into the new millennium. Published
by the Johns Hopkins University Press, MLN includes five issues each year: four
issues concern critical studies in the modern languages (Italian, Hispanic,
German, French) and one issues concerns recent
work in the field of Comparative Literature. Under the direction of
Professor Richard Macksey, with assistance from
one graduate student each year, the Humanities Center
oversees the development and publication of MLN 's Comparative
Literature issue.
An online
version of current issues, as well as a limited online archive of MLN is available through Project Muse.
