In der Nachbarschaft wohnte ein junger Mann, der mir gefiel. Er war Schüler einer Maschinenbauschule, und meine Sympathie begann, als ich ihn an schönen Sommerabenden auf seinem Balkon Gitarre spielen sah und hörte. Ich suchte ihn auf und fragte, ob ich nicht bei ihm Gitarrespielen lernen könnte. Er lachte und meinte, für einen Musikiehrer eigne er sich wohl nich recht; er habe das Klampfespielen im »Wandervogel« gelernt. Ich könne ja zu einen Nestabend mitkommen. Vielleicht es mir dort gefallen.
