SCIENCE ADVISORY COMMITTEE

 
The Science Advisory Committee (SAC) is comprised of representatives from U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, industry and government offices and laboratories, and academia.  The purpose for the SAC is to assist the CHSUE in evaluating the merit, value and contribution of research projects and the relevance and importance of individual organizational elements to accomplish the overall goals of the Center.  Periodic meetings are held by the SAC to provide feedback on specific research projects, to select new research projects and give general advice on the mission and conduct of CHSUE.

OUTREACH ADVISORY COMMITTEE

 
The Outreach Advisory Committee (OAC) is comprised of representatives from EPA, other government offices, and the community.  The purpose for the OAC is to assist the CHSUE in the development, implementation, and evaluation of education, knowledge transfer, and outreach activities and to identify outreach funding opportunities.
