Always…
- Turn off your computer and monitor when not in use
- Turn off all lights when you leave your room
- Do not use a screensaver on your computer
- Take short showers (every minute in the shower uses 12 gallons of water!)
- Turn water off when not in use (washing dishes, brushing teeth, etc.)
- Use a bike or public transit (instead of a personal car/taxis) when travelling
- Reduce take out meals
- Engage in Meatless Mondays at all Hopkins Dining Facilities
- Purchase organic/fair trade food products (coffee, tea, bananas, etc.)
- Recycle, compost and reduce your waste!
