There are many ways that you can reduce the size of your image. However, these are just a few of the ways that we recommended you do it.
Click on the appropriate panel below to display the image resizing instructions.
How to Resize Images with Adobe® Photoshop®
1) Open property listings image in Adobe Photoshop.

2) Click the Image menu button and mouse down to Image Size... or on your keyboard press ALT + CTRL + I

3) This is what you should see when you open the Image Size tool window. Note the number next to Pixel Dimensions. That number is the current size of your image.

4) You need to lower the size of the image to 100k or less. Lower the image size by changing either the width or height number in the Document Size section. Note that while lowering either the width or height number the Pixel Dimensions number changes accordingly. Try to lower the Pixel Dimensions number until it is 100k or less. Click OK when ready.

5) Once done, Go to File, mouse down and click on Save As...

6) Remember to change the image name so you don't accidently overwrite your original image. Also save the image to a location that you will remember later.

7) When the JPEG Options window pops up after clicking OK to Save, change the Quality in the Image Options section to Maximum. Click OK when done.

TaDa! You're done! Whew! Now go upload the picture to your listing.

How to Resize Image with Microsoft® Paint
Before we start resizing your image with MS Paint, consider using Google Picasa. It is a free software that organizes your images and is simplier in resizing them.
Although MS Paint is free and included in your Windows PC, the steps involved are slightly more complicated because you will have to guess the reduction size. If you guess incorrectly you will have to do the steps all over again.
1) Open your property listings image in MS Paint.

2) Click Image in the toolbar and then click Stretch/Scew

3) When the window opens, lower the Horizontal and Vertical percentage number in the Stretch area. Make sure both numbers match. When you are done click OK.

4) Go to File, Save As, and when the window opens make sure you change the name of the image so you don't accidently overwrite the original image.

5) Once you are done saving, locate the folder where you saved the image. When you have the folder open, mouse over the image and wait till a mouse pointer pop-up appears. Make sure the image is 100K or less. If it is not, then you didn't change the Stretch/Skew percentages correctly and will have to start the whole process again.

Once you get the image size correctly... TaDa! You're done! Whew! Now go upload the picture to your listing.
