The Wolman Facilities Office is located on the first floor of Wolman Hall and provides maintenance services for Wolman, McCoy, Bradford and Homewood. The AMR II Facilities Office is located on the first floor of AMR II and provides maintenance services for AMRs I & II as well as Buildings A & B.
Moving in or out?
Hand trucks and moving bins are available to students living in university-owned housing. To borrow one, bring your J-Card and a $20 cash security deposit or a major credit card (sorry, J-cash is not accepted) to Wolman 101 or the AMR Housing Office. Usage times are limited to one hour.
Cleaning?
Vacuum cleaners are available in both facilities offices as well as the McCoy Office of Residential Life. Resident advisors in Bradford and Homewood also have vacuums for the use of students living in those apartments.
Cleaning supplies including a mop and bucket, broom and dust pan, and general cleaning agents are stocked at the beginning of each year in a closet accessible to the resident advisor for each wing. See your RA should you wish to use any of these available items.
Decorating?
Picture hooks and wire are available, free of charge, from the facilities office located in Wolman 101. Residents are reminded not to tape, nail or tack any items to walls. Vandalism charges will be assessed at move-out if wall damage is present as a result of such. Another recommended option for hanging posters or pictures is to purchase poster strips made by 3M which do not remove the paint from walls.
