The successful conference or seminar requires three primary services -- comfortable housing, quality food, and appropriate meeting spaces offering state-of-the-art presentation equipment. Johns Hopkins Conference Services offers excellence in all three areas as well as a team of professional and student staff who are dedicated to the success of your conference.
Housing
With over 900 rooms, a variety of air-conditioned lodging is available for your comfort. Rooms in our residence halls are attractively furnished and offer suite arrangements with adjoining baths as well as the traditional residence hall setting with communal baths. Rates are affordable and include room telephones, computer access, bed and bath linens, and many additional amenities, such as our 24-hour service desk.
Dining
Our professional dining services team is waiting to serve you a variety of quality food in two spacious dining cafeterias located in close proximity to our residence halls. Meals are conveniently provided as part of the conference package. Catering is our specialty. From simple coffee setups and receptions to buffets, Maryland crab feasts, and fully served banquets, our capabilities have few limitations. We will create menu and beverage selections to meet your group's needs and specifications.
Meeting Rooms
Johns Hopkins University offers air-conditioned spaces for meetings, classes, workshops, and lectures. Meeting rooms in residence halls can accommodate up to 150 people. Campus classrooms, meeting rooms, and auditoriums that can serve from 30 to 1,100 participants are also available through Conference Services. Open areas for social gatherings, receptions, and recreation are easily accessible. We have full audio-visual and computer projection capabilities.
Location
Johns Hopkins University is located on a 140-acre wooded campus in a residential area north of Baltimore City known as Homewood. The tranquility of Homewood is just minutes away from the excitement of the Inner Harbor area, where you will find boutiques and cafes, as well as Oriole Park at Camden Yards, the National Aquarium, Maryland Science Center, and the Pier 6 Concert Pavilion. The Baltimore-Washington International Airport is less than 30 minutes away, and the Amtrak station is even closer.
Organizations may participate in the program from June to mid-August. Facilities accessible to the disabled are available.
