The GX Listserv The GX list provides information you need during the "Great Excavations 2" project and related construction projects at the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus. Today is Wednesday, July 17. Today's GX includes:
1. Route reopens 1. Route reopens Since April, the pedestrian path from Levering Hall downhill to San Martin Drive and Olin Hall has been closed for construction of the new connecting roadway on the west side of campus. The path will reopen, as scheduled, this Friday, July 19. Some work remains to be done, however, and contractors will be there periodically over the next week or two. They'll be putting finishing touches on the metal picket rails that border the pathway. 2. Blood drive reminder Remember the Red Cross blood drive today and tomorrow (Wednesday and Thursday) in the Glass Pavilion. There will be balloons and signs posted to guide you around the GX2 construction to the building entrance. For information, see www.jhu.edu/~outreach/blooddrive/. Blood donations are urgently needed this summer. 3. Subscribing and unsubscribing Please let others who may be interested know about this list.
