The GX Listserv The GX list provides information you need during the "Great Excavations 2" project and related construction projects at the Johns Hopkins Homewood campus. Today is Wednesday, July 3. Today's GX includes:
1. Western road closure 1. Western road closure The newly built stretch of service road along the western side of campus will close next week to allow for completion of paving work. The connector from Hodson Hall north and east to Levering Hall will be shut down next Tuesday, July 9, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. It will also close on Wednesday, July 10, at 7 a.m. and remain shut down until 7 a.m. on Thursday. The Hodson Hall contractor will use the time to put a final coat of paving on the roadway and to pave the pedestrian walkway that leads from Levering Hall downhill to San Martin Drive and Olin Hall. The faculty/staff parking area west of Clark Hall and the service/loading area between Clark and Hodson halls are not affected by this paving work and will remain open. 2.
