Homewood Campus Deliveries -- Levering Plaza

The Homewood campus of The Johns Hopkins University is about
to begin work on an open space improvement project. This
project will result in major improvements to campus open
spaces, roadways, and sidewalks. Beginning May 24, 2002 work
shall begin in the area between Garland, Levering and Latrobe
halls. Effective May 24, 2002, vehicular traffic between
Garland and Levering halls shall be terminated. As such, the
following procedures regarding delivery access to the
buildings identified below shall become effective May 24,
2002.
Levering Hall Dining Service Operations
1. Deliveries for dining service operations located in
Levering Hall shall be made via the roadway behind Clark and
Hodson halls. Access to this road is from the south via Wyman
Park Drive.
2. Deliveries shall be made between the hours of 6:00
a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
3. Deliveries must be made in vehicles less than twenty
(20) feet in length. Deliveries made in vehicles greater than
twenty (20) feet in length must be arranged with the campus
Security Office (410.516.4600).
4. Exit from campus after making deliveries shall be
northbound only to San Martin Drive.
Glass Pavilion, and Levering Hall - General
Deliveries
1. General deliveries for offices and departments
located in the Glass Pavilion and Levering, Hall shall be made
via the roadway behind Clark and Hodson halls. Access to this
road is from the south via Wyman Park Drive.
2. Deliveries shall be made between the hours of 8:30
a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
3. Delivery vehicles may park for limited periods of
time in the designated service vehicle parking space between
Levering and Hodson halls. All goods being delivered to the
Glass Pavilion and Levering Hall must be hand-trucked from
this location.
4. Deliveries must be made in vehicles less than twenty
(20) feet in length. Deliveries made in vehicles greater than
twenty (20) feet in length must be arranged with the campus
Security Office (410.516.4600).
5. Exit from campus after making deliveries shall be
northbound only to San Martin Drive.
Clark, Garland and Hodson Halls -- General
Deliveries
1. General deliveries for offices and departments
located in Clark, Garland and Hodson halls shall be made via
the roadway behind Clark and Hodson halls. Access to this road
is from the south via Wyman Park Drive.
2. Deliveries shall be made between the hours of 8:30
a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

time in the designated service vehicle parking space between
Clark and Hodson halls. All goods being delivered must be

located in Barton and Latrobe halls shall be made via the
South Gate service drive. Access to this road is from the
south via Wyman Park Drive.
2. Deliveries shall be made between the hours of 8:30
a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
3. Delivery vehicles may park for limited periods of
time in the designated service vehicle parking space between
Barton and Latrobe halls. All goods being delivered must be
hand-trucked from this location.
4. Deliveries must be made in vehicles less than twenty
(20) feet in length. Deliveries made in vehicles greater than
twenty (20) feet in length must be arranged with the campus
Security Office (410.516.4600).
5. Exit from campus after making deliveries shall be
southbound to Wyman Park Drive.
Ames and Gilman Halls -- General Deliveries
1. General deliveries for laboratories and offices
located in Ames and Gilman halls shall be made to the Jenkins
Hall loading dock. Access to this dock shall be made via the
roadway behind Clark and Hodson halls. Access to this road is
from the south via Wyman Park Drive.
2. Deliveries shall be made between the hours of 8:30
a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
3. Deliveries must be made in vehicles less than twenty
(20) feet in length. Deliveries made in vehicles greater than
twenty (20) feet in length must be arranged with the campus
Security Office (410.516.4600).
4. Exit from campus after making deliveries shall be
northbound only to San Martin Drive.
A campus map indicating buildings and campus access roads is
enclosed with this correspondence. University Security
personnel and/or signs shall be posted at campus access roads
to direct delivery vehicles. Delivery vehicles shall park in
designated service vehicle parking areas only while making
deliveries, or use available loading docks where appropriate.
Additional parking is also available in the campus Visitor
Parking Lot. Driving and/or parking on sidewalks, grass, or
other unauthorized areas is prohibited. Violators shall be
subject to fines and/or towing.
