My goal is to address issues and concerns related to the mental health and well-being of the graduate student population and to make sure that staff at the Counseling Center are aware of a) the specificity of our role as teachers and researchers, b) the special concerns that arise from the everyday nature of our work (e.g. stress related to dissertations, research pressures, time constraints, etc.) that are different from those of undergraduates.
