Graduate Board Calendar
2005 - 2006

The completed exam, department certification, reader's letters, and dissertation must be submitted by the following deadlines for the student to go before the Graduate Board for approval.

Should a student's degree requirement materials be received after the deadlines listed below that student's name will be added to the next semester's Graduate Board list for completed degrees.

Fall '05 Schedule

October 14 Completion of Final Garduate Board Oral Exams for Fall Graduate Board Meeting
October 28 All materials must be submitted to Graduate Board and Dissertations submitted to the Commercial Binding Office by 4:00 p.m.

Winter '06 Schedule

January 6 Completion of Final Graduate Board Oral Exams for Winter Graduate Board meeting
January 20 All materials must be submitted to Graduate Board and Dissertations submitted to the Commercial Binding Office by 4:00 p.m.

Spring '06 Schedule

March 23 Completion of Final Graduate Board Oral Exams for Spring Graduate Board meeting
April7 All materials must be submitted to Graduate Board and Dissertations submitted to the Commercial Binding Office by 4:00 p.m.

An "Application for Graduation" must be received by the Registrar's Office.

Readers/Referees letters are due to the Graduate Board Office one week before the final GBO.

Graduate Board Exams may be held throughout the academic year. Written requests to schedule a GBO examination should be submitted in writing at least three weeks prior to the proposed examination date. Students must be registered before the exam is approved.

Dissertations should be provided to the examiners at least two weeks before the date of a final exam. Students and advisors are responsible for distributing copies to the examiners.

Dissertations must be completed and submitted to the bindery by the above dates.
