International Student Ministries

A Branch of Graduate Christian Fellowship

Who Are We?

The International Student Ministry (ISM) on Homewood campus is a ministry group recognized by the Office of Chaplains at Johns Hopkins University. It is under the wings of Graduate Christian Fellowship (GCF), and our goal is to help international students and scholars adjust in the new environment and culture and to meet their spiritual needs.

Who Can Participate?

any international students -- undergraduate or graduates level -- or scholars

Our Services

One of the services we have is to promote friendships between international students/scholars and Americans through a host family program. If you would like an invitation to dinner in an American home and to experience American family life and culture, please let us know. It may be a one-time visit, or it might develop into a life-long friendship.

When and Where?

Our weekly meetings are held every Friday beginning at 7:00 pm at 2806 N. Calvert St.

For more information please visit the ISM website or contact Takashi Yoshioka (takashi @ jhu.edu) or George Korir (gkorir1 @ jhu.edu).
