Student-curated exhibit focuses on Parisian gallery of Alice Warder Garrett

When Exhibiting Alice opens on Friday afternoon at Evergreen Museum & Library, the gallery show and its related talk will be marking a milestone: The show was conceived and planned by senior Margaret Deli, the first student to have curated a show for the museum.

JHU names first curator of cultural properties
Jacqueline O'Regan has been named Johns Hopkins' first curator of cultural properties, a position that will address ways in which the university collects and manages its extensive cultural resources. The appointment is a major part of the university's recent efforts to raise the profile of the arts for the Johns Hopkins and Baltimore communities.

Mason Hall opens as door to JHU
With just the finishing touches left to do, Homewood's new "front door" opens this week. On Friday, Mason Hall rumbled to life as admissions staff moved into the new 28,000-square-foot admissions and visitor center, which will receive its first campus visitors on Wednesday.
