Deadline for submission of Hopkins Admissions applications and completion of CSS Profile Form by early decision applicants.

December 15 Admissions letters and financial aid awards are mailed to accepted early decision applicants.
January 1 Deadline for submission of regular decision freshman admissions applications.
January 15 Enrolling early decision students' deposits due at the Office of Admissions.
February 15

Maryland residents only: Preferred date to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

March 1

Deadline for regular decision freshman applicants to complete:
1) the CSS Profile Form, https://profileonline.collegeboard.com
2) the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) http://www.fafsa.ed.gov, and
3) to submit required documents to the College Board's Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC). We require signed copies of student's and parents' federal income tax returns including all schedules and W-2 forms.* The IDOC website is: https://idoc.collegeboard.com/.

Please Note: This deadline is not applicable for Early Decision enrolling students. See May 1.

March 15

April 1 Admissions letters and financial aid awards are mailed to accepted Regular Decision first-year students.
May 1

Enrolling regular decision first-year students' deposits due at the Office of Admissions.

Enrolling early decision tax information must be sent to the College Board's Institutional Documentation Service (IDOC). We require signed copies of student's and parents' federal income tax returns including all schedules and W-2 forms.* The IDOC website is: https://idoc.collegeboard.com/.

Late June Admissions letters and financial aid awards are mailed to accepted transfer students.
Mid July Fall semester bills are mailed with anticipated aid and credits.

End of August (about 10 days prior to first day of classes for fall semester)

Fall financial aid disbursed to student account.
Early December of first year enrolled at Hopkins Spring semester bills are mailed with anticipated credits.
January (about 10 days prior to first day of classes for spring semester) Spring financial aid disbursed to student account.
February 15 of first year at Hopkins Preferred date for Maryland residents only to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) http://www.fafsa.ed.gov for the upcoming academic year.
May 1 of first year at Hopkins Deadline for enrolled students to complete:
1) the CSS Profile Form https://profileonline.collegeboard.com,
2) the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) http://www.fafsa.ed.gov for upcoming academic year, and
3) to submit to CSS IDOC all required documents including signed copies of student's and parents' federal income tax returns with all schedules and W-2 forms.
End of June after end of first year at Hopkins Financial aid award notices for upcoming academic year mailed to returning students.

Students who defer admission must comply with the deadlines for applicants.

*If you are unable to submit a complete packet of required documents to IDOC by the deadline, you should contact your financial aid advisor by email to explain the circumstances. Your financial aid advisor will advise you on how to proceed.
