A Decade of Discussion

This year, the Foreign Affairs Symposium celebrates its 10th anniversary of bringing thought provoking intellectual discussion to the Johns Hopkins community.  We will be examining the major changes and continuities in politics, economics, human rights, war and technology over the past ten years.  Our recent history has been shaped by major events such as 9/11, the Iraq War, rise of China,  rise of neo-coservatism, natural disasters including Hurricane Katrina and the Asian Tsnami, and rebuilding of Eastern Europe.  We hope that by looking to our recent past we will stimulate discussion within the Hopkins community regarding the future.
