We are just getting underway in excavating our square in the northeast of the porch. Simone will oversee together with Ghada, our inspector. The space is rather confined, so the excavators take up all of the space just digging and moving the dirt. Immediately we see a trench of sandstone chip crossing the trench from north to south. |

In the Level 3 photograph, looking south, this trench is highly visible. Simone writes up her notes after measuring the feature. |
