We are exploring efficient and robust 3D feature detection techniques on 3D meshes. The goal is to perform better 3D registration and parameterization.

Other applications include:

* assisted hole filling in automatic 3D scanning and

* automatic character recognition for 3D scanned cuneiform tablets.
