UPCOMING EVENTS
The JHMI Choral Society, founded in 1986, is a non-auditioned choir based at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. Our membership is comprised of JHMI students, former students, faculty, staff and members of the greater Baltimore community. The JHMI Office of Cultural Affairs is honored to sponsor this unique organization.
The Choral Society performs a number of concerts each year, often combining with the JHMI Chamber Society. Programs include many diverse styles including religious, contemporary and popular works. Featured soloists have included performers from the Peabody Conservatory, Baltimore Symphony, Baltimore and Washington Opera Companies, and the JHMI community.
The JHMI Choral Society meets on Tuesday evenings in Hurd Hall at 5:15 p.m. in Hurd Hall of the Johns Hopkins Hospital (600 N. Wolfe Street). All singers are invited to attend! For planning purposes, please fill out an information sheet in advance of your first meeting.
