Tuition and Fees

Refund Policy

Full-time undergraduates: $37,700, or $18,850 per semester

Part-time: $1,260 per undergraduate credit hour

Study abroad undergraduates in non-Hopkins-sponsored programs:
$1,885 per semester

Matriculation Fee (Entering students): $500

Tuition Refund Policy [Top]
Students who withdraw during an academic term will receive a tuition refund based on the policy specified in the catalog. The financial aid award will be adjusted based on the actual charges incurred during the semester. Funds from federal Title IV programs will be returned to the government according to federal regulations.

All other students withdrawing on their own accord will be made refunds of tuition payments as per federal policy:

90 percent Sept. 4–15 Jan. 26–Feb. 3
50 percent Sept. 16–Oct. 27 Feb.4–Mar. 24
25 percent Oct. 28 –Nov. 21 Mar. 25–Apr. 20
no refund after Nov. 21 after April 20

Refunds will be calculated based on the date the student submits a written statement of withdrawal to the student’s academic advising office.

No refund will be granted to students suspended or dismissed for disciplinary reasons. The university reserves the right to dismiss a student whose academic standing or general conduct is considered unsatisfactory.
