2009 Team Tryouts
29 May 2009
This year's demo round will be held on September 4th at 7:00pm in Maryland 110. Anyone interested in learning more about the team or parliamentary debate is encouraged to attend. The round should last about an hour. Tryouts will be on the following Saturday. (Time and place to be announced.)
Tryouts are required and held only once a year. In previous years we have had over one hundred students try out for the team. Generally the team accepts between 10 and 15 new debaters each year, and some of the team's most talented debaters came to tryouts with no prior experience.
