Meet the Staff

Johns Hopkins Tutorial Project would not be as great as it is without our wonderful staff! And all of the staff feels just a proud to be part of this wonderful program. Just like we get to know all the amazing kids and their families, we would like you to get to know a little but about us.

Over the years our group has grown to include Directors, Student Directors, many student organizers and even more fabulous tutors! Thanks again to everyone, and enjoy your look around.

Student Directors 2009-2010

Monday/Wednesday

Brittany McKinnon, Class of 2010, is a Psychology major with a minor in Business who hails from Detroit, MI.

Tuesday/Thursday

Jillian Adams, Class of 2011, is a Public Health Studies major who hails from Hanover, PA.

Student Organizers

The Johns Hopkins Tutorial Project has two teams of organizers. One group supervises the Monday/Wednesday sessions while the other one watches over the Tuesday/Thursday sessions. The organizers test the kids before each semester to find out their strengths and needs. They are then responsible for matching them up with appropriate tutors and keeping track of their pairs' progress. The Tutorial Project is proud to introduce our team for the current semester.

Alex Konisky, Class of 2011, is a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering major who hails from New Hampshire.

 

Charles Han, Class of 2010, is an International Relations major who hails from Atlanta, GA.

 

Deepak Atri, Class of 2010, is a Biophysics and Philosophy double major who hails from Philadelphia, PA.

 

Grace Kronauer, Class of 2010, is a Molecular and Cellular Biology major who hails from Chicago, IL.

 

Salina Khushal, Class of 2010, is a Biomedical Engineering major who hails from Baltimore, MD.

 

Samantha Iniba, Class of 2012, is a Public Health Studies major who hails from New York.

 

Zach Senders, Class of 2010, is a Biology major who hails from Doylestown, PA.

 

Kevin Chen, Class of 2012, is a Materials Science & Engineering major who hails from Orlando, Florida.

 

Kristan Rosenthal, Class of 2012,is a Public Health Studies major who hails from Floral Park, NY.

 

Maura Coughlin, Class of 2011, is an International Studies and Economics double major who hails from Mundelein, Illinois.

 

Shareef Ghanem, Class of 2012, is a Public Health major with a minor in Bioethics, who hails from Danville, CA.

Emma Alterman, Class of 2012, is a Sociology and Political Science Major who hails from Parsippany, New Jersey.

 

Janine Lin, Class of 2010, is a Biophysics major who hails from Fort Lee, NJ.

 

Javaneh Jabbari, Class of 2011, is a Cellular and Molecular Biology & History of Medicine, Science, and Technology major who hails from Baltimore, MD.

Jen Lee is a proud member of the Class 2010.

 

 

Katherine Visconti, Class of 2010, is a Writing Seminars and East Asian Studies Double Major who hails from San Francisco.

 

Kye-Young (Kathy) Park, Class of 2011, is a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering major who hails from Seoul, South Korea.
