STAND!
Mission Statement:
Mentors students from juvenile detention centers in Baltimore in hopes of encouraging these youths to take a new direction in life. Mentors will be individually paired up with a mentee according to personalities. Sessions can be on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Fridays from 4:00-6:00 p.m. or Saturdays from noon to 2:00 p.m. Once a month, as a group, the mentors take their mentees to a social. STAND's ultimate goal is to decrease the violence and legal troubles of youth in Baltimore.
