Patchwork

Mission Statement:

We believe that doing arts and crafts is one of the best ways to volunteer and interact on and off campus. While creating an art piece, people (children and adults) open up and reveal themselves in ways that words cannot describe. We interact with the Baltimore community and populations in need by using this very unique approach. Using art, Patchwork has worked with the homeless, elderly, and disabled. We notice that these people feel great after accomplishing art projects. Often they are amazed by their own ability and dedication and as a result they gain confidence and a new hobby. With these ideas in mind, Patchwork members go out to the Baltimore community to share the distinct and amazing effects of arts and crafts.
