Dec 2011 – Our multi-institutional review on the environmental fate and ecological risks of carbon nanotubes is published in ES&T.

 

Jun 2011 – Khanh An’s paper on the aggregation kinetics of citrate- and PVP-coated silver nanoparticles is published in ES&T.

 

May 2011 – Paper on fouling and cleaning of RO membranes is published in the Journal of Membrane Science.

 

Feb 2011 – Peng’s paper on the aggregation and deposition kinetics of oxidized multiwalled carbon nanotubes is published in Langmuir

 

Aug 2010 – Kai Loon co-organized the “Environmental Applications and Implications of Nanotechnology” symposium at the ACS Fall 2010 National Meeting (Aug 22–26) in Boston. Peng gave a talk on the deposition of multi-walled carbon nanotubes on silica surfaces, while Khanh An gave a talk on the aggregation kinetics of silver nanoparticles.

 

Apr 2010 – Paper on plasmid DNA adsorption on silica surfaces in the presence of alkaline earth and transition metals is accepted by Biomacromolecules
