Financial Aid

Graduate students are currently supported using funds from an NIH training grant, the University teaching assistant budget and the research grants of their major professor. Support for the 2007-2008 year includes a stipend of $26,855 (effective 9/1/08), a full tuition scholarship, and an individual health plan. Outstanding students in each class are encouraged to apply for fellowships from outside agencies such as the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.

Students are encouraged to apply for fellowships from the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health. Any student receiving a fellowship (during the years of Departmental support) will receive a supplement in recognition of their achievement.
