Applying to Postings and Other Recruiting Events

Postings and on-campus opportunities are the most traditional way to identify post-graduate opportunities. While on-campus recruiting typically favors particular fields, the Career Center has created options and opportunities that are designed to promote many different career fields.

On-Campus Recruiting and Resume Drops:
All on-campus recruiting and alumni-connected resume drops can be viewed by logging into your J-Connect account and clicking on "On-Campus Recruiting."

Information Sessions:
Another great way to meet with employers. Most information sessions are in the evening and provide you with a wonderful opportunity to learn more about a particular firm! For a list, consult your J-Connect account.

Job and Internship Postings:
Not all companies and organizations will visit campus. For a listing of all opportunities sent to the Career Center, consult the JHU Job and Internship Board postings in your J-Connect account.

Resume Books:
Annually, the Career Center sends out over 1300 resumes to employers. It is very important that you upload your resume into your J-Connect account so that we can forward it along. The Career Center can help you draft and polish your resume.

Career Fairs:
The Career Center hosts three on-campus Career Fairs each year, for all majors. Also, there are a number of off-campus career fairs where you can meet and interview with top firms in Boston, New York, Chicago and Washington, DC. Click for here for more about Career Fairs.
