Listings
Internship listings can be accessed through a variety of places in your J-Connect account.
This database contains internship opportunities in a broad range of fields and geographic locations. Internships in the Job and Internship Board include on-campus interviews, resume collections and internship listings.
• How to Access: Click the "JHU Job and Internship Board " link in your J-Connect account.
• Tip:
Search broadly at first to see what types of opportunities exist,
then narrow your search to browse a manageable number of postings.
The Nationwide Internships Consortium (NIC) is a consortium of 15 selective institutions across the country, including Johns Hopkins University, that share internship information through a common database. There are over 3000 internships posted to the NIC system.
• How to Access: Click the Nationwide Internships Consortium link in the “Jump to” section on J-Connect. Search using the Internships tab.
• Tip: To apply for positions in this database, you will need to upload your resume and other application materials, just as you did in J-Connect.
This internship site lists more than 2,800 organizations offering internship programs in fields like environmentalism, history, sports, advertising, human rights, business, media and more.
• How to Access: Click the Internships-USA link on J-Connect’s main page.
• Tip: Click on "The Internship Series on Line." JHU’s username and password are found in the description of Internships-USA on J-Connect’s main page.
