Experiencing Careers First-Hand

It is important to try things on for size. You wouldn't buy a car without a test drive or pick a college without a school visit. Deciding on a career is the same thing.

Internships are the best way to explore careers. They allow you to explore a field and add to your classroom learning while gaining valuable work experience. Other experiences, such as the field trips offered during Interession, offer valuable ways to see what a job is like first-hand.
