Throughout the process of negotiating and accepting your offer, make sure that you contineu to express your enthusiasm for the position. We encourage you to clarify all aspects of the offer and utilize Career Center resources and staff to determine how the offer compares to other firms and fields.

If you are attempting to decide between two or more companies, we encourage you to ask for additional time before accepting any offer. It is unethical to accept and offer and continue to interview. Additionally, if offered a position, it is very important to communicate with the company and ultimately either accept or decline the offer. Again, the Career Center is here to assist you, so make an appointment with a career counselor if you have questions or concerns.

The Career Center also has guidelines for employers regarding recruiting and job offers.
