> How Parents Can Help
There are many ways for you to get involved with the Career Center
that will have long-lasting benefits for Hopkins students.
The best way for students to learn about
careers is from talking with experienced professionals like you.
- Hopkins Career Profiles
The Hopkins Parents Career Survey is designed to gather information about your experiences in your career field. By sharing your experience with students and providing them with specific information on your career field and industry they are better able to connect their interests with specific careers. - Career Information Programs and Events
Each semester we offer a number of educational and training workshops to expose and prepare students for various career fields. We are always looking for willing speakers and panelists! Past alumni events have included interviewing workshops, industry panels discussions and "Careers for ____ Majors." To get involved, contact Tracy Carter, Sr. Assistant Director, at 410-516-8056 or tracy.carter@jhu.edu.
- Talk to Your Student
Encourage your son or daughter to use our services. Ask if they have met with a counselor this year. This is especially important for seniors. Many seniors believe that there are just not any opportunities available to them. While the employment landscape has changed since last year, students can and will be successful in securing full time opportunities.
Hopkins students make great employees and interns.
The Career Center offers a wide array of services
for companies and organizations to recruit students for jobs and internships. Please contact our Employer Relations Team at recruit@jhu.edu or
410-516-8056 to learn how to get involved.
- Contact the Career Center with existing internship and full-time opportunities within your organization. Email recruit@jhu.edu
