The Career Center's No-Show and Late Policies

Due to the high demand for counseling appointments, we ask that if you cannot make it to your appointment, simply contact our office by phone at 410-516-8056 or email at career@jhu.edu. We will be happy to reschedule your appointment and release the time to someone else.

The Career Center has adopted this late and no-show policy to help serve you in the most efficient manner possible.

• Any student who arrives 10 minutes late or more for his or her appointment will be required to reschedule the appointment. This will be counted as a no-show.
• Students who neglect to show up for their appointment without prior notification will be required to discuss the effect of no-shows on the availability of appointments with a career counselor
• The second time that a student neglects to show up for his or her appointment or arrives more than 10 minutes late for his or her appointment, he or she will be required to meet with the director of the Career Center prior to making any additional appointments.
