Assessment

Assessing your interests, values, and personality are an important part of the career decision-making process. Career counselors use a variety of assessment tools to assist you with this stage of the process. The assessments used by the Career Center include the Strong Interest Inventory and the Myers Briggs Type Indicator.

These assessment tools require that you meet with a career counselor for 30 minutes prior to taking the assessment. In addition, you will meet with the same counselor for one hour to interpret each inventory. The information that you will gain from the results of these inventories can assist you as you further explore possible career paths.

Strong Interest Inventory
This assessment tool encourages you to examine and clarify your career-related interests.

Myers Briggs Type Indicator
