The Career Center has partnered with the Alumni Relations office to provide JHU alumni with a new webinar series focused on career growth and professional development. The webinar content and schedule will be available beginning June 2012. Topics will range from building an effective resume, interviewing, networking, to select industry panels and featured alumni speakers. In 2004, Ann Costlow (’90 Carey Business School alumna), opened the well-known eatery Sofi’s Crepes in Baltimore. Since then Ann has grown her business to 6 locations, 2 owned and 4 franchises. In this webinar, Ann will tell her story of how she made a career change from finance to becoming an entrepreneur. Ann will discuss some of the nuts and bolts of how she took a good idea and made it into a successful business, including referencing some of the small business and networking resources she utilized along the way.
