- Construction: New buildings are being
built on the Homewood campus near the Career Center, affecting
visitor parking. The directions below take you to the correct
parking lot. Please allow extra time when traveling to campus,
and please contact us at 410-516-8056 if you have any difficulty
finding your way.
(Wilmington, Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York)
Historic Baltimore Route (about 30 minutes
beyond the I-95/I-695 split)
Take I-95 South through the Fort McHenry Tunnel to exit 53 (I-395
Downtown). Stay in the right lane. As I-395 ends you will see
Oriole Park at Camden Yards in front of you on your left. Make
a right turn onto Pratt St.; proceed three blocks to N. Charles
St. Turn left onto N. Charles St. and stay straight for about
three miles. Turn left onto 29th St. Move into the right lane
and bear right after the next traffic light onto Howard St. Immediately
after bearing right, make sure you are in the left-hand turning
lane. Turn left at the traffic island onto Wyman Park Dr. Continue
on Wyman Park Dr. past the university gates. Just after the Wyman
Park Building (on your left), the road splits. Bear left and then
make an immediate right turn into the parking access lane. The
visitor parking lot is on your left.
Highway Route (at the I-95/I-695 split)
Take the Baltimore Beltway (I-695 Towson) to exit 25 (N. Charles
St.). Take N. Charles St. south for about seven miles (when N.
Charles St. splits a block after Cold Spring Lane, stay to the
right). As you cross University Parkway, continue southbound in
the right-hand service lane. At the fourth traffic light bear
right onto 29th St. Continue to bear right after the next traffic
light onto Howard St. Immediately after bearing right onto Howard
St., make sure you are in the left-hand turning lane. Turn left
at the traffic island onto Wyman Park Dr. Continue on Wyman Park
Dr. past the university gates. Just after the Wyman Park Building
(on your left), the road splits. Bear left and then make an immediate
right turn into the parking access lane. The visitor parking lot
is on your left.
(Pennsylvania, etc.)
Take I-83 South to the Baltimore Beltway (I-695 Towson). Follow
Highway Route directions from the North above.
(BWI Airport, Washington, D.C.)
Take I-95 North to exit 53 (I-395 Downtown). Stay in the right
lane. As I-395 ends you will see Oriole Park at Camden Yards in
front of you on your left. Make a right turn onto Pratt St.; proceed
three blocks to N. Charles St. Turn left onto N. Charles St. and
stay straight for about three miles. Turn left onto 29th St. Move
into the right lane and bear right after the next traffic light

Take Route 50 East to exit 21 (I-97 Baltimore). Continue on I-97
to exit 17A (I-695 Baltimore/Towson). Continue on I-695 to exit
11A (I-95 North Baltimore). Follow the directions above from the
South on I-95.
(Pittsburgh, Chicago, etc.)
Take I-70 toward Baltimore; take exit 91A (I-695/Glen Burnie).
Continue on I-695 to exit 11A (I-95 North Baltimore). Take I-95
North to exit 53 (I-395 Downtown). Follow the directions above
from the South on I-95.
Follow the directions above. Once you have safely parked, look
for the campus map and information board at the lot entrance. From
there, proceed either up the steps to the main campus, or follow
the sidewalk to your right to ascend the hill. Garland Hall is a
three-story, modern, square building located just beyond the buildings
you will see at the head of the steps. Garland
Hall is #3 and the Visitor's Lot is #60 on the Campus
Map (pdf).
Employer visitors to the Career Center
will be given a pass on arrival at the Career Center, which will
allow them to park free of charge. If you are an employer holding
an evening information sessions, please contact the Career Center
with your mailing address to request a pass for each presenter’s
vehicle in advance.
Baltimore/Washington
International Airport (BWI) is 30 minutes driving time to the south
of campus. Take a taxi from the airport and ask to be driven to
the Homewood campus of Johns Hopkins on North Charles Street, not
the hospital.
Baltimore’s Penn
Station is 10 minutes driving time to the south of campus. Take
a taxi from the station and ask to be driven to the Homewood campus
of Johns Hopkins on North Charles Street, not the hospital.
The bus station is located
in downtown Baltimore. Take a taxi from the station and ask to be
driven to the Homewood campus of Johns Hopkins on North Charles
Street, not the hospital.
