Instructor Pescador

Instructor Pescador (Tommy Lowery) began training Capoeira in 1999. In 2001 he began his Capoeira training with Professor Borracha, native to Bahia, Brasil, under Jelon Vieira, Founder and Artistic Director of Capoeira Foundation and Dance Brazil. Under the supervision of Mestre Jelon and Professor Borracha, Mr. Lowery began instructing classes at the Capoeira studio in downtown St. Louis in 2003.

Mr. Lowery has traveled extensively to further his knowledge in Capoeira. He has trained Capoeira in New York, NY; San Antonio, TX; Gainesville, FL; Kansas City, MO; Madison, WI; Champaign, IL; Bloomington, IN; Denver, CO. Now residing in Baltimore MD, Intructor Pescador is teaching capoeira at John Hopkins University and continues working to bring Brazillian culture to Baltimore.
